📋 Description

• Partner with Sales and Customer Success on technical customer conversations, implementations, and onboarding • Debug customer issues across APIs, integrations, and production systems • Design and build product features, internal tooling, and automations that improve customer experience and engineering velocity • Own engineering projects end-to-end, from gathering requirements through implementation and deployment • Work directly with customers to understand complex workflows and translate them into product improvements • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver exceptional customer outcomes • Help improve APIs, integrations, developer experience, and operational tooling • Become a trusted technical advisor for some of the largest customers • Spend roughly half the time working directly with customers and half building software

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5 years of software engineering experience • Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js preferred), or experience in another backend language with a willingness to learn • Experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication • Comfort working directly with customers and explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences • Ownership mindset—you enjoy taking projects from idea to production • Startup mentality: comfortable with ambiguity and excited to wear multiple hats • Experience building APIs or backend services (nice to have) • Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Redis, or modern cloud infrastructure (nice to have) • Experience working with SaaS integrations or enterprise customers (nice to have) • Background in fintech, accounting, payments, or tax technology (nice to have) • Experience working in an early-stage startup (nice to have)
