📋 Description

• Report to the Controller, Nuvei-Paya • Manage the monthly close and general ledger accounting process • Oversee accounts payable and general ledger accounting for Paya Holdings, including fixed assets, payroll, commissions and software capitalization • Review journal entries, vendor invoices, account reconciliations and financial statements • Support monthly and quarterly flux analysis • Ensure proper internal controls and timely, accurate transaction recording in accordance with IFRS and established internal control requirements and procedures • Interact with business units and corporate departments to ensure entries are recorded properly • Identify and lead continuous improvement projects focused on financial close automation • Support implementation of a new ERP • Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting • 5+ years in accounting with corporate or mix of public and corporate experience • CPA/CPA Candidate preferred • NetSuite experience preferred • Strong communication and analytical skills • Incredible attention to detail • Ability to contribute to the success of the business outside of the Finance & Accounting discipline • Demonstrated ability in problem solving and process improvement • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing, fast paced environment • Detail orientated with strong organizational skills • Desire and ability to work as a team player with urgency and aspiration for accuracy • English (written and spoken) is the language used most of the time
