📋 Description

• Deliver technical work as a project lead and technical resource with minimal supervision, using independent judgment and evaluation • Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and other project team members • Lead and organize quality control and electrical testing teams on Mission Critical projects • Perform commissioning-focused design reviews • Prepare commissioning plans and commissioning specifications • Prepare Load Bank Plans • Review, analyze, and identify issues with short circuit coordination studies and arc flash studies • Review, analyze, and identify issues with electrical submittals and shop drawings • Prepare electrical checklists, functional test procedures, and integrated system tests • Prepare field observation reports and status reports • Perform functional tests and integrated system tests • Prepare systems manuals and commissioning reports • Support electrical problem solving and corrective action plans

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive experience in electrical commissioning and engineering • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from ABET accredited university • Experience in design, installation, testing, start up and inspection of low and medium voltage systems, emergency power and UPS systems, SCADA systems, power monitoring, and electrical power distribution • Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential • Experience in diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems • Able to work as part of a team, think creatively, and solve problems • Experience with MS Office Suite • Knowledge and strong understanding of electrical codes (NEC/NFPA70), electrical acceptance testing standards (NETA), and the IEEE standards association • Ability to travel nationally up to 25% to support onsite project teams • Professional Engineering License considered a plus • Commissioning Certification considered a plus • Relevant Software Experience (CxAlloy, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD/REVIT) considered a plus
