📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineering and/or design teams on specific projects • Deliver effective and cost-efficient alternatives and solutions • Develop and deliver client reports recommending updates for compliance and/or operational functionality of fire, suppression and/or life safety systems • Provide code and standard references, document research, reports, and interpretations for fire protection • Meet with jurisdictional authorities and clients to resolve compliance questions • Review and maintain working knowledge of changing codes, standards, industry specifications, and practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of equivalent experience and nationally recognized certification(s) • Have passed the EIT Examination • Able to sit for the Professional Engineering examination within 4 years • Ability to travel 50%, mainly in the US/Canada • Authorization to work in the United States • Must be within 1 hour of a major US airport • Working knowledge of Fire, Life Safety and Building Codes and NFPA Standards • Field engineering/consulting experience in fire protection • Experience with or knowledge of passive fire protection • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines and budgets • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Working competency with MS Office and MS Project software
