📋 Description

• Direct and supervise service HPC engineering functions for designing, developing, installing, and validating hardware and software for customer AI HPC systems • Lead planning, implementation, and performance of HPC projects • Improve system-services bring-up integrity by configuring and maintaining HPC AI network and server platforms • Drive team hardware and software deployment • Plan, develop, and deploy system-validation procedures • Lead team activities, tests, and plans for customer HPC AI system implementations, custom scripts, and testing procedures • Support the HPC Engineering team and collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute strategies for service quality and continuous improvement • Lead team-member development and support career-growth goals • Build relationships with NVIDIA leaders, customers, partners, and collaborators • Identify, implement, and support NVIDIA AI solutions engineering while maintaining awareness of industry standards and innovations • Serve as the domain authority with customers from planning calls through implementation • Orchestrate day-to-day operations, guidance, and development of a multi-layered HPC service-professional team • Ensure timely delivery of AI HPC data-center projects

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ overall years' experience in IT, high-performance computing, or another related field • 3+ years of experience in a management or leadership role • Demonstrated expertise in HPC systems design, configuration, and planning • Solid knowledge of HPC storage • Proficiency with low-latency/high-bandwidth interconnect infrastructure, including InfiniBand and Ethernet • Expertise with HPC system software cluster management/provisioning tools, including Slurm, Salt, and xCAT • Proficiency with shared and distributed memory parallelism, including OpenMP, MPI, NCCL, and HPL • Experience with accelerators, including GPUs • Strong scripting ability with Bash, Perl, Python, or similar languages • Experience with programming fundamentals • Expertise in administering, supervising, and maintaining secure Linux/Unix operating systems, including CentOS and Solaris • Ability to understand and work with large, sophisticated systems; identify and resolve problems; handle performance; and troubleshoot infrastructure-related network issues • Expertise with multi-vendor hardware/software management, security, and network/Internet protocols • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience • InfiniBand experience • Experience with GPU-focused hardware/software • Experience with MPI • Automation tooling background, including Ansible, Salt, or Puppet • Experience with Ethernet and storage technologies such as Lustre or GPFS
