📋 Description

• Create and manage research datasets supporting research projects and preparatory-to-research activities • Summarize data into reports, tables, charts, and graphics • Conduct data quality checks and improvements • Create and maintain technical documentation related to research data and processes • Partner with other OCHIN departments and affiliated research institutions • Operationalize variables and translate research questions into functional and analytic designs • Provide technical and consultative services for research projects and networks • Support data extraction, manipulation, quality, and integrity for research • Create analytic datasets for one or more studies • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years working with health care data, including electronic health records or claims data, preferred • Minimum 2 years working with large data sets • Minimum 1 year programming experience with data querying and/or statistical software; SQL or SAS preferred • Experience working with complex relational databases • Ability to read, write, and maintain SQL code • Database query skills and experience cleaning large, messy datasets • Knowledge or experience with Epic EHR or Clarity database preferred • Knowledge of community health centers and safety net healthcare preferred • Health-related research experience preferred • Reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English • Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office environment • High Speed Internet Service • Ability to work in a distraction free workplace • Required COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical or religious exemption before hire • Willingness and ability to travel nationally, potentially up to 20%, for on-site Go-Live support
