📋 Description

• Assist with execution of multiple concurrent, complex, and time-sensitive compliance projects • Draft and revise compliance policies and procedures, including compliance program policies and departmental procedures • Draft and edit compliance publications, including OhioHealth's Code of Conduct, Ethics and Compliance eSource webpage content, articles, and other publications • Assist with documenting the annual compliance risk analysis • Assist with the annual compliance effectiveness review • Develop compliance communications • Oversee compliance exit interview processes • Assist in managing the OhioHealth Hotline/Ethics and Compliance Hotlink, including assigning reported matters and preparing related reports • Assist subject matter experts with reviewing and revising general and specialized compliance training and education modules • Prepare reports and provide support for the Ethics and Compliance Senior Leadership Committee Board • Prepare committee meeting materials, minutes, and other reports • Perform other duties assigned by compliance leadership • Support safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • Certification in Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC), or Certified in Healthcare Compliance-Fellow (CHC-F) required or must be obtained within one year of hire • 7 to 10 years of experience stated for the role • Degree with five years of direct and/or related experience • Minimum of five years of experience in relevant fields such as compliance, legal, human resources, training and education, communications, internal audit, Joint Commission, clinical quality and patient safety, and/or health information management • Business writing, editing, publishing, and drafting reports, policies and procedures, articles, and/or white papers • Experience supporting compliance with regulatory agreement requirements • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, billing, coding, referral relationships, conflicts of interest, HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and OIG guidance • Experience analyzing compliance data, audit results, hotline reports, investigation trends, and operational metrics • Experience preparing reports, dashboards, summaries, and supporting documentation • Experience conducting investigations, including issue intake, fact gathering, documentation review, root-cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action recommendations • Experience developing and revising compliance-related policies • Experience with sanction exclusion screening, conflicts of interest, and compliance requirements in a research institute • Experience developing compliance education materials and providing workforce training
