📋 Description

• Build and own a New York law firm with the candidate's licence, entity, clients, and professional judgement • Co-found the management services organization with Omnilex • Build and operate the MSO's AI systems, engineering, operations, finance, marketing, administration, and recruiting functions • Serve the law firm through an arm's-length services agreement • Build both the legal practice and the MSO from the ground up • Convert an established professional network and book of business into client engagements • Apply legal judgement, advocacy, litigation, advisory work, and client relationship skills • Help establish the second market for an AI-native law firm model already operating in Switzerland • Contribute to a firm infrastructure covering intake, conflicts, research, drafting, review, matter management, and billing

🎯 Requirements

• Admitted in New York and in good standing • Senior enough that clients hire you rather than the letterhead behind you • Bring an established book of business and relationships with GCs, partners, founders, and alumni • Ability to turn professional relationships into engagements • Strong knowledge of legal ethics, including independence of judgement, fee-sharing, confidentiality, and unauthorised practice • Interest in ownership and founding a firm rather than pursuing a salary or partnership track • Strong legal craft and case-solving ability • Tech-curious and open to AI in law • Comfortable building an early-stage firm without an established brand, precedent bank, or support staff • Bonus: experience building or advising on MSO, ABS, or other alternative legal service structures • Bonus: prior ownership of a P&L or a practice group • Bonus: litigation experience alongside advisory work • Bonus: a second language
