📋 Description

• Work on daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and collections. • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports. • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, internal controls, and financial compliance. • Maintain accurate data across accounting systems. • Improve accounting processes and partner with teams across the business. • Build strong partnerships across Finance and other departments. • Deliver accurate and timely accounting work across assigned areas. • Improve the efficiency and scalability of accounting processes.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4 years of accounting experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and reconciliations at a software as a service company. • Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles. • Experience supporting monthly and quarterly close processes and preparing financial reports. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Ability to manage competing priorities and handle sensitive information with sound judgment and integrity. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. • Experience working at a fast paced startup preferred. • CPA or progress toward CPA certification preferred. • Experience with NetSuite, Brex, and Zip preferred. • Experience supporting external audits and internal controls preferred. • Experience improving or scaling accounting processes within a growing organization preferred. • Legally authorized to work in the United States for Onebrief.
