📋 Description
• Coordinate patient care requests by phone for all physicians • Serve as a resource to staff • Review all incoming faxes to the office • Answer pharmacy calls and medication refill requests • Coordinate physician orders, including home health, hospice, and hospital orders • Handle emergency calls on the designated emergency line • Serve as liaison between physicians and other facilities and between physicians and patients • Triage patient calls • Manage oral chemotherapy and medication orders • Coordinate patient care and documentation • Perform nursing duties
🎯 Requirements
• Associates degree in Nursing required • RN or LPN license (State of LA or Compact) required • BLS CPR required • Prior phone triage experience required • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred • OCN Certification preferred • Oncology experience preferred
