📋 Description

• Establish and maintain accounting policies in accordance with US GAAP, including ongoing assessment of FASB and SEC developments • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and ensure a strong internal control environment over financial reporting • Analyze and document accounting implications for complex transactions including M&A, new products, and strategic initiatives • Partner cross functionally with Finance, Product, Legal, and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely reporting outcomes • Lead modernization efforts across reporting processes, systems, and controls to support scale and efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in accounting within financial services, fintech, or a high growth technology environment • Deep expertise in US GAAP, technical accounting research, and financial reporting requirements • Experience evaluating complex transactions and translating accounting guidance into practical business decisions • Proven ability to build and improve internal controls and reporting processes in a scaling organization • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working with auditors, regulators, and executive leadership • Drive and proactivity – everyone here is a builder and executor
