📋 Description

• Lead the end-to-end Financials data conversion workstream for a higher education ERP modernization from PeopleSoft Financials to Workday • Own planning, scope, sequencing, estimates, milestones, dependencies, quality standards, and delivery • Coordinate data conversion developers, provide technical direction, review deliverables, resolve blockers, and ensure consistent methods and documentation • Serve as the primary Financials data conversion contact for the client, system integrator, functional leads, project management, and technical workstreams • Provide status updates and escalate risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies • Lead discovery and requirements sessions and define conversion scope, historical data requirements, priorities, reconciliation criteria, and acceptance standards • Analyze PeopleSoft Financials data structures, schemas, tables, configurations, and business rules • Own conversion strategy, methodology, mapping framework, iteration plan, cutover approach, and readiness criteria • Align source data with Workday business objects, foundational data models, load requirements, reporting, and integration needs • Lead and perform data profiling, extraction, mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation • Develop, review, and refine SQL, PeopleTools queries, extraction logic, transformation rules, reconciliation routines, and conversion scripts • Ensure converted data is accurate, complete, balanced, secure, traceable, and compliant • Coordinate Workday load cycles with the system integrator and update mappings, scripts, and source data • Oversee mock conversions, testing, financial reconciliation, defect triage, remediation, and final validation • Define data-quality controls, balancing measures, reconciliation measures, acceptance criteria, and obtain sign-off • Maintain documentation covering scope, mappings, transformation rules, decisions, procedures, tests, defects, reconciliations, and cutover • Partner with Financials functional, integration, reporting, security, testing, and change teams

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of ERP data conversion experience, including leading a data conversion workstream or major conversion effort • Deep hands-on expertise with PeopleSoft Financials data structures, tables, extraction methods, and conversion tools across multiple Financials modules • Experience supporting PeopleSoft-to-Workday data conversions • Understanding of Workday data conversion and load processes • Advanced proficiency in SQL and PeopleTools, including Application Designer • Strong knowledge of data profiling, mapping, modeling, cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, validation, and data-quality practices • Ability to lead technical team members and manage workstream priorities and dependencies • Ability to manage client expectations, facilitate decisions, communicate technical concepts clearly, and build trust across stakeholders • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and issue-resolution skills • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience • Working knowledge of Integration Broker is strongly preferred • Experience with Workday Financials conversions in higher education is preferred • Experience across multiple PeopleSoft Financials domains is preferred • Workday or PeopleSoft certification is preferred • Experience with full-cycle ERP implementations is preferred
