• Plan multiple projects simultaneously and serve as senior technical lead • Supervise engineering professionals, staff engineers, technicians, and CAD professionals • Estimate personnel needs, assign work, and meet completion dates • Coordinate day-to-day technical staff operations and provide technical guidance • Oversee project document deliverable outlines, layouts, technical reports, data interpretation, and graphical presentations • Consult with clients to prepare plans, reports, and assessments • Evaluate, select, adapt, and modify standard techniques, procedures, and criteria independently • Manage project budgets and hours to complete tasks within assigned timeframes • Act as client manager and distribute work assignments and proposals • Communicate potential schedule and budget issues to leadership • Oversee project setup and authorization paperwork, contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and schedules • Oversee project financial management, invoicing, projections, reporting, and contract compliance • Maintain confidentiality and follow Company safety rules and OSHA regulations • Participate in continuous improvement programs and keep current with industry trends • Prepare Solid Waste Management Facility permit documents, construction plans, and specifications • Prepare Part B Permit Application Documents for Industrial Facilities • Prepare permit documents and plans for Voluntary, RCRA, and CERCLA cleanup actions • Direct construction quality assurance activities • Prepare SWPPPs, SPCC Plans, and ARAP Applications • Prepare construction cost and financial assurance estimates • Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university • 5-10 years of related experience • Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license • Advanced knowledge of engineering principles • Knowledge of computer aided software (Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, AutoCAD, ArcGIS etc.) • Ability to complete and maintain HAZWOPER certification with the 40-hour HAZWOPER environmental health and safety class and annual 8-hour refresher class • Proven leadership skills and problem-solving ability • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities • Strong organizational and management skills • Ability to work well with and mentor others • Ability to delegate and communicate in a group-oriented setting • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and leaders
