📋 Description
• Edit a team of reporters covering Oregon outside of the Willamette Valley • Help reporters build beats and sources • Edit stories for radio and digital platforms • Report and produce breaking and enterprise news • Schedule and conduct interviews • Record and edit material using digital audio tools • Represent OPB on air and in public settings
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience • 3 years of professional journalism experience • 1 year supervisory experience • Experience editing and covering hard news topics • Exceptional time management and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Ability to represent OPB at community events • Bilingual in English and another language preferred
