📋 Description

• Run the full commission cycle for the GTM organization, including validating closed-won data, applying plan mechanics, calculating payouts, and producing individual statements • Maintain crediting rules, quota and territory assignments, split and multi-rep deal resolution, and edge-case adjudication • Validate commissionable data and build reconciliation checks between CRM, Finance systems, and payroll • Maintain an audit trail for every adjustment • Investigate commission discrepancies, explain calculations, document resolutions, and address root causes • Model attainment distributions, payout curves, accelerator scenarios, and cost of sales for proposed plan changes • Partner with Finance on accruals, forecasting, and payout files • Deliver commission inputs on the payroll calendar each cycle • Partner with Revenue Systems to move commission logic from spreadsheets into CRM and reporting systems • Define field, object, and reporting requirements for automated commission tracking and self-serve attainment visibility • Maintain plan documents, quota records, approved exception logs, and process runbooks • Support payout accuracy, cycle timeliness, dispute resolution, automation progress, audit readiness, and stakeholder trust

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in commission operations, sales compensation, revenue operations, or FP&A, including ownership of a full commission cycle for a multi-segment GTM team • Experience designing or materially redesigning incentive plans • Advanced spreadsheet skills in Excel and Google Sheets, including complex formula logic, large data sets, and auditable models • Working knowledge of quota, attainment, accelerators, draws, clawbacks, splits, and crediting rules • Hands-on experience with CRM data, specifically HubSpot and/or Salesforce • Exceptional accuracy and self-review discipline • Clear written and verbal communication with non-analytical audiences • Discretion and judgment with confidential compensation data • Comfortable bringing structure to undocumented processes and holding a position with Sales leadership when plan terms support it • SQL, BI tooling such as Looker or Tableau, or compensation platform experience such as CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Spiff, or similar is a plus, not a requirement • Authorized to work in the location of the job posting
