📋 Description

• Provide inclusive virtual sexual health and HIV care through scheduled consultations • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments, including medical histories, risk assessments, and psychosocial evaluations • Educate patients on sexually transmitted and blood-borne infection prevention, HIV prevention, risk reduction, and behavioral counseling • Discuss treatment options and help patients overcome barriers to care and make informed health decisions • Order laboratory testing and diagnostic studies • Interpret results and prescribe medications • Provide clinical follow-up and maintain timely, accurate, thorough electronic medical records • Use virtual care tools for patient communication, prescribing, and ongoing care coordination • Collaborate with Registered Nurses and support team members to deliver coordinated care • Complete up to 15 hours of scheduled live consultations and approximately 5–10 hours of asynchronous care tasks weekly

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing and completion of a primary care Nurse Practitioner program • Active Nurse Practitioner licenses in at least 10 states, including at least one of Texas, Florida, or California • At least 2 years of primary care experience • At least 1 year of experience delivering virtual healthcare • Experience in HIV prevention and/or providing care to the LGBTQ2IA+ community • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to empathetic, culturally responsive care • Consistent availability for asynchronous responsibilities, scheduled live consultations, and at least 10 live consultation hours between Friday and Sunday • Preferred: experience providing care to gender-diverse and sexually diverse populations • Preferred: experience treating and managing patients living with HIV • Preferred: experience in a private-sector, startup, or technology-driven healthcare setting • Preferred: experience practicing independently or autonomously • Spanish fluency is preferred • Active DEA registration is requested in the application form • Ability to commit to 20–25 hours per week and work the majority of hours on weekends (Fri–Sun) is requested in the application form
