📋 Description

• Engage with patients, referral sources, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery • Create, communicate, and obtain all required documentation for new referrals • Secure patients’ upfront payment, including helping patients find payment avenues and directing them to financial assistance programs • Support activities needed to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management, including following up on missing paperwork • Assist the Supervisor and Manager with special assignments, including acting as backup for the Lead Specialist • Communicate process-improvement opportunities and offer resolutions to present to PRM • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Prior Infusion Therapy Industry experience • Work in Mountain or Pacific Time • High school diploma or equivalent is required • Internal Candidates: 1 year experience as a Patient Registration Specialist • Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities at one time • Ability to work in a fast past environment • Must be detail-oriented and have a high degree of quality focus • High degree of customer service skills required • Ability to trouble shoot, problem solves and collaborate with cross-functional team members across sales and operation functions • Previous healthcare/medical billing experience preferred
