📋 Description

• Engage with patients, referral sources, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery • Create, communicate, and obtain all required documentation for new referrals • Secure patients’ upfront payments and help patients find payment avenues when needed, including directing them to financial assistance programs • Support ongoing activities to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management, including following up on missing paperwork • Assist the Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments and act as backup for the Lead Specialist • Communicate process-improvement opportunities and propose resolutions to the PRM • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Internal candidates must have 1 year of experience as a Patient Registration Specialist • Ability to multitask and support numerous referrals and priorities simultaneously • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Detail-oriented with a high degree of quality focus • High degree of customer service skills • Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and collaborate with cross-functional sales and operations teams • Previous healthcare or medical billing experience preferred
