📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted cybersecurity partner to Optiv clients • Design pragmatic, scalable, and defensible security solutions aligned with client initiatives • Focus primarily on Threat Management, with additional expertise across related security domains • Drive services and technologies business to meet or exceed quota objectives with account teams • Follow Optiv Standardized Sales Operating Processes • Understand client security environments, operations, needs, and risk appetite • Identify security concerns and align them with Optiv strategic solutions • Participate in the Field Center of Excellence and position Optiv services and technology partners • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities; qualify leads and manage opportunities through closure • Articulate how Optiv’s technology and services portfolio meets client stakeholder needs • Monitor industry trends and the cybersecurity landscape to provide thought leadership and guidance • Collaborate with service delivery on domain specialty materials and solution consistency • Develop security strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals, budgets, and ROI metrics • Maintain advisory relationships with client stakeholders and Optiv technology partners • Design complete security programs, including requirements gathering, technology selection, demonstrations, and evaluations • Partner with internal Optiv teams to align client expectations and ensure service delivery excellence • Share client feedback to support continuous improvement • Participate in account planning, forecasting, pipeline management, and proposal processes • Create business proposals and contracts and respond to RFIs/RFPs • Maintain and obtain technical capabilities, soft skills, and security-specific knowledge through education, certification, and other avenues

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA or equivalent and/or applicable work experience • Minimum of five (5) years in an information security role focused on Threat Management, preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer • Expertise in Application Security Tools, Vulnerability Management, Threat Management / Hunting, Enterprise Incident Management, Forensics / eDiscovery, Threat Intelligence Platforms, and Asset Management • CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, GIAC or other relevant professional cybersecurity certifications preferred • Experience speaking and evangelizing technology vision at events • Highly motivated self-starter who does not require day-to-day management • Ability to work in a highly adaptable and nimble team environment with responsive communication • Thorough understanding of the current threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and defensive controls • Strong business and technical acumen and ability to lead technology-focused discussions • Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills, including whiteboard sessions and other presentation mechanisms • Strong attention to detail for reviewing SOWs, quotes, and client deliverables • Broad security-related knowledge and continuous expansion of expertise across other portfolio domains • Vendor-specific certification(s) focused primarily on the specialty • Ability to travel around 25% or as needed
