📋 Description

• Ensure the organization’s QMS complies with standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other industry-specific regulations • Plan and conduct internal audits and support external audits (customer, regulatory, or certification), ensuring compliance and driving corrective actions when gaps are identified • Use methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and improve product quality and process performance • Investigate nonconformities, perform root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone), and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence • Stay current with applicable industry regulations and standards, ensuring all processes and products meet compliance requirements • Create, update, and manage quality procedures, work instructions, and policies to ensure consistency and standardization across operations • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure quality requirements are built into product design and manufacturing processes (e.g., PPAP, APQP) • Develop, track, and analyze metrics such as defect rates, scrap, rework, and customer complaints to identify trends and opportunities for improvement • Develop and deliver training to ensure employees understand quality requirements, procedures, and best practices • Address customer quality issues, lead root cause investigations, and work with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality standards

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality environment • Experience with electronics, aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing preferred • Clear understanding of SolidWorks drawings, BOM, and assembly steps • Strong interest in managing manufacturing quality systems • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-moving production environment • Experience with document management (maintaining corporate work instructions, KPI reporting, project management related) • Good computer skills (Power BI) preferred • Auditing experience (internal audits) preferred • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting • Physical requirements for the position, such as mobility, vision, strength, etc. (applicable in line with local laws): Primarily an office-based job, but with prolonged periods on the plant floor or warehouse area working in a manufacturing environment that may require walking, standing, etc., including operating a forklift
