• Drive additional pipeline growth and project success in utility-scale solar and energy storage • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute annual goals for existing projects, project development and new project siting • Manage all aspects of solar and storage project development • Manage project permitting throughout the development cycle • Evaluate transmission grids and land constraints and present ideal new-project locations to management • Interface with landowners, the internal Origis Land Team and land consultants to secure selected sites • Support early-stage interconnection applications and process management • Form project teams using Origis Tier 1 consultants for early-stage risk analysis • Assist in PPA negotiations and manage customer relations during development • Organize and share development documentation with Investment, Finance and Construction teams • Manage vendors and project budgets through SAP
• Minimum 7 years’ renewable energy project development experience for the Senior Project Development Manager role • 10 years’ renewable energy project development experience for the Director position • Deep knowledge of the CAISO and WECC market • Knowledge of three or more of: solar siting and land acquisition documentation; Federal, State & Local solar project permitting; interconnection study process; clean energy financial modeling; technical understanding of solar + storage projects; RFP assembly and response support; PPA negotiations support; project finance negotiations support; wholesale market/RTO market operations knowledge • BS and/or BA, MBA preferred • Strong knowledge of solar development tools, including PV Syst outputs, constrained project layouts, interconnection study results, permit studies and financial models • Broad knowledge of the full spectrum of the solar development process • Familiarity and comfort with landowner negotiations • Experience assembling project development teams and managing consultants • Experience in public presentations and guiding third-party development relations • Preparation of project critical path analyses and recommendations • Experience reviewing and providing inputs for financial models • Experience and deep understanding of U.S. utility-scale solar and energy storage markets • Experience with interconnection from application through LGIA finalization • Exceptional communication skills • Detail-oriented and highly organized • Strategic thinker • Creativity in problem solving • Ability to multitask and manage tight timelines and budgets • Effective management of multiple stakeholders within cross-functional teams
