📋 Description

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for WS_FTP, Kiteworks, and Box.com environments • Manage secure file transfer processes between internal and external environments • Administer file transfer account requests and customer account management policies • Monitor performance and troubleshoot file transfer, connectivity, security, and access issues • Manage internal and external WS_FTP server resources, operations, support, and maintenance • Support the transition from WS_FTP and Box.com to the new Kiteworks environment over 8–12 months • Perform day-to-day break-fix, data calls, audits, and general support ticket activities • Work with customers, team members, peers, and IT management • Stay current with managed file transfer industry trends, technologies, and best practices • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation • Performance tune through query optimization and monitoring tools • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience • Solid knowledge of file transfer and networking protocols, including SFTP/FTP, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and DNS • Understanding of administration and day-to-day support of WS_FTP, Kiteworks, and Box.com environments • Proficiency with Windows Server 2019/2022, TCP/IP, Active Directory, and Azure cloud hosting • Proven experience with managed file transfer protocols such as FTP, SFTP, and HTTP/S • Familiarity with file encryption, decryption, and secure file transfer practices • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management and staff • Knowledge of technical standards, IT concepts, administrative tools, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery • Ability to performance tune through query optimization using related monitoring tools • Proficiency using Microsoft Office products and industry-standard computer software • Must be able to work off hours or weekends for scheduled quarterly updates/upgrades or critical patching • Ability to pass a background and drug screening • Must have identification compliant with the Real ID Act at time of hire • Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy PIV badge • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance • Ability to meet physical requirements, including extended keyboarding and occasional kneeling, bending, twisting, and reaching
