📋 Description

• Support technical infrastructure comprising hardware, software and cloud service provider components • Drive implementation and design services for organizational areas and customers • Map relationships among IT platforms, infrastructure components, end users, system software, hardware and communications networks • Identify technology interactions and dependencies across systems and platforms • Investigate and analyze problems, identify root causes and ensure timely resolution • Design and implement system monitoring and performance optimization solutions • Design, implement and maintain backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability • Document system configurations, baseline systems, and test or modify IT infrastructure • Research and evaluate new solutions and determine courses of action for technical initiatives • Escalate incidents and coordinate resources to resolve issues within Service Level Agreement metrics • Support Disaster Recovery/Continuity of Operations exercises, testing and live incidents • Maintain security and integrity controls • Prepare technical documentation, training materials, standards and reports • Evaluate and recommend Windows- or appliance-based hardware and software procurements • Evaluate total cost of ownership and return on investment of IT platform/infrastructure alternatives • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 or more years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to pass a background and drug screening • Must have identification compliant with the Real ID Act at time of hire • Must be able to obtain Department of Energy PIV badge • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance • Experience with Identity Management products such as Entra ID, OKTA and Ping Identity • Knowledge of Active Directory, ADFS, Group Policy Management and Identity Management • Knowledge of the AZURE ecosystem • Knowledge of Zero Trust principles • Proficiency using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and industry-standard computer software and databases • Ability to travel by vehicle or aircraft and safely operate a motor vehicle • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds regularly and greater weights occasionally • Ability to work independently, on a team and with minimal supervision • Ability to communicate technical information and product plans to all levels of staff and management • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar, vocabulary, spelling, editing and proofreading • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload and work under pressure • Ability to analyze documents and technical information accurately and maintain accurate records • High degree of sensitivity regarding confidential information
