📋 Description

• Oversee the monthly and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules across significant accounts, including revenue, balance sheet accounts, accruals, cash, and clearing accounts • Prepare and deliver complete, accurate monthly financial statements, including Balance Sheet and P&L, and review underlying support • Lead the annual audit process and serve as primary liaison with external auditors • Ensure compliance with GAAP and consistent application of accounting policies • Oversee and ensure completion of balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and key sub-ledger accounts • Review and oversee preparation of ancillary schedules, including prepaids, inventory-related accounts, and reserves • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, and Sales/Marketing to ensure accurate accounting treatment of business activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience • 2–4+ years of accounting experience in a CPG company • Omnichannel experience across DTC, Amazon, and retail/wholesale strongly preferred • Hands-on NetSuite experience required, including saved searches, item receipts, and general ledger • Self-starter able to work flexibly in a collaborative, fast-paced environment • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables • Exposure to or experience using AI models such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini • Willingness to use OSEA products, meditate with the team, and have fun while working
