📋 Description

• Own the cash side of the revenue cycle by ensuring clean claims flow without bottlenecks • Work outstanding AR across 30/60/90+ day aging buckets and prioritize high-dollar claims • Resolve denials, rejections, holds, and appeals to maximize cash flow • Identify patterns and rule opportunities in Candid to improve the touchless claim rate • Partner directly with practices to gather information, resolve denial issues, and prevent recurring denial patterns • Handle claim-specific billing inquiries escalated from Customer Success, Implementation, and Account Managers • Research claims and provide practices with clear, accurate billing answers • Navigate modern E&M, POS, and telehealth billing rules across states and payers • Build expertise in interventional psychiatry billing, including Spravato, TMS, ketamine, and comparable treatments • Audit and clean up AR backlog; flag template, SOP, and workflow improvements • Send clear, concise, professional messages to practices • Raise blockers proactively through internal communication channels

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on AR resolution experience — denials, rejections, appeals, aging buckets, prioritization to maximize cash • Behavioral health billing experience, including medication management visits, psychotherapy add-on codes, and telehealth delivery for mental health • Experience with modern E&M and telehealth billing, standard office E&M, POS rules, and state- and payer-specific telehealth modifiers • Ability to read a payer reimbursement policy and act on it • Major payer portal experience: Availity, Navinet, PayerCompass, and payer-specific portals • Daily use of Claude, Gemini, or comparable AI tools, with ability to explain their usefulness • Comfort adapting to shifting priorities and workload in a startup environment • Open, direct communication style; able to raise blockers quickly, ask clear questions, and give and receive direct feedback • US-based and eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
