📋 Description

• Lead and serve as the expert on an assigned population of prospective students • Actively engage, connect with, advise, and sell prospective students on Ohio State online programs • Develop Ohio State online program recruitment materials and processes • Lead prospects through the application process and assess program fit, application qualifications, and progress • Monitor applicants’ submission progress • Deliver required daily, year-round recruitment activities • Track application submissions, student enrollments, and other performance metrics • Provide customer service through phone, video call, email, or text • Capture all activity and notes in the CRM • Adapt recruiting processes and materials to improve prospective-student conversion • Collaborate with marketing on lead-quality feedback • Work with the reenrollment team as prospects become students and transition relationships • Share and sometimes lead cross-functional communication with college partners • Build relationships and collaborate across functions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required • 3+ years in sales, recruitment, communication, or a related field • Experience in recruiting or sales, customer service, communication, and/or working cross-functionally within an organization • Broad knowledge and expertise in sales tactics • Understanding of the recruitment funnel • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred • 5+ years of experience preferred • Experience in online higher education recruitment preferred • Experience working with nontraditional, online prospects in a recruitment funnel preferred • Experience selling an expensive, intangible/service product in a virtual environment preferred • Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check • A drug screen or physical may be required during the post-offer process
