📋 Description

• Process patient demographic and insurance information efficiently and accurately • Provide customer service while supporting the Revenue Cycle • Perform patient billing and collection processing in compliance with departmental policies and procedures • Handle payment posting, cash reconciliation, refund/credit processing, insurance follow-up, call-center customer service, self-pay collections, or claim submission • Ensure collection of net revenue for services rendered • Resolve customer conflicts and escalate issues when appropriate • Identify opportunities for new work

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • 1 year of relevant experience required • Minimum 6 months experience in customer service or a healthcare environment • PC knowledge • Preferred: 6 months or more experience using PCs, websites, and Microsoft Office products, with emphasis in Word & Excel • Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills • Ability to handle difficult customers in stressful situations • Ability to resolve conflicts independently and within a team • Ability to escalate issues to upper management when appropriate • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Self-motivated, dependable, detail oriented, and highly organized • Final candidates must successfully complete a background check; a drug screen or physical may be required during the post-offer process
