• Support development and execution of global value evidence strategies for assigned CNS, nephrology, and immunology assets • Gather, synthesize, and analyze evidence needs across payers, providers, patients, and policymakers • Participate in and demonstrate readiness to eventually lead the Value-Evidence Sub-Committee • Develop and maintain product- and indication-specific Integrated Evidence Plans • Design and implement global health economics and outcomes research studies • Implement evidence-generation studies with internal programmers/data analysts, external vendors, and academic institutions • Support publication planning and execution with publication teams and Scientific Communications personnel • Support medical or payer advisory meetings • Identify and support projects directly advancing economic strategy • Evaluate healthcare economic, outcomes, and quality-related value using clinical trial, epidemiologic, and real-world evidence data • Produce data, tools, economic models, product dossiers, and formulary submission materials • Work with payers and organizations to identify evidence needs and develop economic tools and models • Identify external stakeholder needs and develop collaborative research agendas • Demonstrate accountability, strategic thinking, patient/customer centricity, impactful communication, respectful collaboration, and empowered development
• PhD or Master’s in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Health Services Research, Public Health, or related discipline • At least 2 years of related work experience for PhD/MD candidates • At least 4 years of related work experience for Master’s degree candidates • Experience in outcomes research, including dossier submissions for reimbursement and design/development of pharmacoeconomic models • Experience working with consumers of outcomes information • Knowledge of epidemiology, economics, psychometrics, and medical writing • Strong expertise in non-interventional study designs and statistical analysis considerations • Strong understanding of administrative claims data, electronic medical records data, hospital inpatient data, and patient- or physician-reported survey data • Ability to independently develop research hypotheses, study protocols, and statistical analysis plans • Working knowledge of customer/payer tool development and value dossiers • Experience working with and overseeing external contractors and vendors • Strong understanding of health systems around the world • Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills • Willingness to travel to conferences, corporate locations, and stakeholder meetings, including overnight trips • Some international travel may be required • Approximately 10% travel
