• Lead strategy and programs reducing barriers to disease recognition, specialist referral, diagnosis, genetic testing and counseling, and connection to specialty care • Lead compliant, unbranded disease education and diagnostic-pathway readiness before approval • Lead branded patient and caregiver marketing following approval • Partner with Patient Services on support-experience and persistence programs using aggregate, deidentified data • Own omnichannel strategy and execution for unbranded market-development and disease-education programs and, following approval, branded patient and caregiver programs • Establish shared audience-journey frameworks, channel-orchestration standards, marketing-technology and data requirements, and measurement approaches • Lead development, execution, and measurement of unbranded HCP disease-state peer-to-peer programs • Build symptom- and pathway-oriented education for patients, caregivers, and clinicians • Define commercial requirements for genetic-testing access programs • Own the annual plan, budget, agency and vendor execution, and aggregate performance measures • Serve as primary marketing liaison to the Omnichannel Business Partner • Co-lead the advertising Agency of Record relationship • Identify recurring system-level barriers using research, advocacy insights, and aggregate data • Lead commercial responses to recurring genetic-testing, specialist-referral, treatment-center connection, and support barriers • Lead or support patient and caregiver advisory boards • Partner with advocacy organizations to extend education, referral, and support resources • Coordinate with National Patient Advocacy on strategy, funding governance, and content independence • Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, HUB/Patient Services, TLL, Account Managers, and Brand Strategy & HCP Engagement • Set national market-development and patient-journey priorities and equip field teams with approved programs and aggregate insights • Contribute to congress strategy and cross-functional launch planning
• At least 10 years of commercial experience in the U.S. biopharmaceutical industry • Experience including market development, disease education, patient marketing, digital and omnichannel engagement, new-product launches, and market analysis • Recent rare disease commercialization experience required • Demonstrated pre-launch experience building compliant unbranded education and pathway programs • Post-approval patient marketing experience • Demonstrated success partnering with patient advocacy organizations under appropriate governance • Diagnostics, genetics, neurology, or diagnostic-pathway market development strongly preferred • MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred • Up to 30% travel based on business needs
