📋 Description

• Develop and implement scalable, secure, and interoperable data systems tailored for OU Health’s enterprise data analytics platform. • Define and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to standardize data across clinical, research, and operational systems. • Ensure models support healthcare-specific requirements. • Design and oversee data integration processes (ETL/ELT pipelines). • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions. • Facilitate communication and collaboration among all parties. • Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues. • Implement security and backup procedures to protect patient information. • Prepare and maintain system documentation, data dictionaries, and architecture blueprints. • Provide training and guidance to team members on data management best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years of experience in data architecture, database design, or healthcare IT required. • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related field required. • Proficiency in database management systems (SQL, NoSQL, cloud platforms). • Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7). • Familiarity with data modeling, ETL tools, and data integration platforms. • Programming skills (Python, Java, Scala) and experience with big data technologies. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities. • Ability to work collaboratively across clinical and technical teams. • Deep understanding of healthcare data security, privacy, and compliance requirements. • Experience in healthcare data governance, data hub design, and advanced analytics. • Knowledge of cloud-based data solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP). • Certification in data architecture, healthcare informatics, or related technologies preferred.
