📋 Description

• Work with the Controller to oversee entries related to cemetery and funeral home locations • Manage a portion of the accounting closing process • Record daily cash deposits and disbursements • Ensure cash entries are posted accurately and timely • Resolve discrepancies within cash general ledger accounts • Maintain additional general ledger accounts • Prepare monthly accruals and recurring entries • Work with team members to maintain subledgers • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations • Prepare additional monthly and quarterly reconciliations • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes • Prepare weekly and monthly management reports • Assist with internal and external audits • Prepare audit documentation and address inquiries • Identify and implement accounting process improvements using accounting software and systems

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or accounting • At least five (5) years of relevant accounting experience • Strong, hands-on US GAAP experience (must have) • Multi-entity accounting experience, including intercompany and consolidation (must have) • Advanced Excel skills • Excellent written and spoken English • Able to work in US hours
