📋 Description

• Pioneer and define the Agentic Experience design discipline at OutSystems • Define how AI agents navigate, operate, and succeed within the platform while maintaining clear human oversight • Transform the platform into a machine-legible, safe, observable, and cost-aware agent-ready substrate • Define and design machine-operable interfaces, agent communication, AX design assets, operation contracts, behaviour policies, trust specifications, and evaluation criteria • Own the end-to-end AX design lifecycle: Model, Contract, Constrain, Observe, Validate, Run, Learn, and Version • Define operability gates for agent workflows, including determinism, safety, observability, recoverability, and economics • Build golden tasks, regression sets, and adversarial scenarios for capability version changes • Design interactive, supervised, and lights-out oversight modes • Create dual-layer journey maps covering human experience and agent operations • Define trust operating models, delegation moments, and oversight touchpoints • Establish AX design standards, patterns, and best practices across R&D • Contribute agent-facing components, semantic structures, and observability surfaces to the design system • Evangelize agent-first design across Product, Engineering, and leadership • Mentor and guide designers through the UX-to-AX transition • Drive reskilling in semantic architecture, process modeling, exception design, and system optimization • Foster collaboration and shared design vision across UX, UAX, and AX

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in UX, Product Design, or related design disciplines • Experience designing for complex B2B SaaS or platform products • Strong foundation in systems thinking, information architecture, and semantic design • Experience building operating models and conceptual design • Experience working in and leading cross-functional design, engineering, product management, and AI/ML teams • Experience with the full design lifecycle in Agile environments • Expert in Figma, Figma Make, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, and modern design tools • Excellent communication skills • Fluent in English, spoken and written • Deep fluency in LLM patterns including ReAct and Chain-of-Thought • Ability to design state machines, tool-use contracts, and autonomous workflows • Experience designing for non-deterministic systems, graceful failures, hand-off protocols, and recovery paths • Mastery of semantic modeling and machine-legible design for vector embeddings, RAG, and typed schemas • Ability to design Interactive, Supervised, and Lights-out interaction modes with observability, auditability, and cost-awareness • Comfortable with API documentation, JSON structures, and capability contracts • Knowledge of low-code platforms, software development processes, or IDE design is advantageous • Background in process engineering, service design, or operations design is advantageous • Experience with capability/contract design, API design, or developer experience is advantageous • Experience designing for trust, delegation, and human-AI collaboration patterns is advantageous
