📋 Description

• Provide strategic oversight to direct, manage, and improve revenue cycle operations • Drive operational excellence and accountability through daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI analysis • Serve as the internal revenue cycle liaison for hospital leadership • Respond to stakeholder needs and support revenue cycle initiatives • Work with hospital leadership to explain revenue cycle processes and metrics and assess facility financial performance • Analyze denials trends and facility efficiencies and provide operational improvement feedback • Supervise multiple Managers and provide guidance and mentoring • Establish policy and process changes to improve the revenue cycle • Develop action plans for metrics that do not meet established goals • Schedule meetings with regional leaders to report financial performance, opportunities, training, and improvement plans • Implement revenue cycle best practices and oversee billing, claims, and follow-up activities • Maintain relationships with Revenue Cycle leaders and supporting organizations such as coding, IS, and managed care • Drive process improvements and standardization across the region • Identify training needs and coordinate deployment with the training team • Manage activities and responsibilities across revenue cycle functions • Support broader company goals and continuous improvement in quality, operational cost effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and resource utilization • Maintain expertise in revenue cycle principles, procedures, contractual compliance, and internal controls • Evaluate needs for partnerships involving outsourcing, collections, underpayment, vendors, and eligibility • Own revenue cycle reporting and continuously monitor and actively manage revenue cycle processes • Partner with leadership, finance, and vendors to align revenue cycle efforts with organizational needs • Develop work plans, project objectives, milestones, and client communications • Lead project teams, assess priorities and deliverables, anticipate roadblocks, and support team morale • Coach team members and champion their professional development • Manage and develop talent required to achieve goals • Develop and execute business initiatives and roadmaps, including practice management system implementations, business office consolidations, and technology implementations • Interact with senior management and other company divisions, units, and customers • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors or Equivalent Experience • Minimum of 5 years of revenue cycle management experience as a Hospital Business Office Manager or Director • Experience developing and leading teams • C-suite and/or Board presentation experience • Demonstrated A/R analytical and management skills • Intermediate Excel and PPT • Thorough knowledge of project management • Strong sense of urgency and drive to produce results • Ability to juggle priorities and navigate dynamics and politics within practices, network support and corporate teams • Track record of positive conflict resolution in complex matrixed environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Understanding of billing systems platforms, including EPIC, Cerner, and Medhost preferred • Knowledge of Method I and Method II billing requirements • Analytical skills to identify opportunities to improve revenue cycle performance, process, and workflow • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing • Ability to sit for extended periods of time • Ability to move moderately heavy objects • Willingness to travel 10-20% depending on client need
