📋 Description

• Provide quality audit services to evaluate and improve Revenue Cycle performance • Complete accurate, objective, timely quality audits and supporting documentation • Create performance reports for staff, departments, and leadership • Identify quality trends and provide input for training and development • Recommend action plans with trainers, Managers, and/or Team Leads • Process audit disputes and provide timely feedback to management • Manage internal customer relationships and follow issues through closure • Coordinate audit schedules to ensure compliance with quality audit procedures • Design and produce reports and individual quality scorecards • Provide input on department policies and procedures • Communicate audit results to Managers, Team Leads, and staff • Ensure compliance with quality sign-off and documentation procedures • Assess and communicate staff development needs • Assist with developing training materials based on monthly audit trends • Occasionally assist with staff training based on identified trends

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years of general hospital business office billing and collections experience • Understanding of A/R management concepts for CAH/general hospital and business office operations • Expert-level billing and/or collections experience with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial, and/or self-pay • Expertise in medical billing software including Meditech, CPSI, Medhost, EPIC, Rycan, Emdeon, Change, Relay Health, Trubridge, and Athena • High School Diploma or GED required • Excellent written and verbal skills • Ability to manage workload, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced environment • Excellent people skills • Critical thinking skills • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Strong leadership, organization, planning, and time-management skills • Ability to grasp new concepts and apply them • Ability to understand complex workflows and follow procedures
