📋 Description

• Execute under the Mechanical OFCI Director • Review consultant packages • Write and maintain mechanical OFCI specifications • Run submittal reviews and factory witness tests • Update the basis of design • Support new cooling designs • Travel domestically approximately 50% • Work in and around active data center construction areas and job sites • Communicate with contractors, engineers, site personnel, clients, and stakeholders • Prepare written reports and documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience • 2 years of data center experience • Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint proficiency • Working knowledge of AutoCAD • Bluebeam proficiency • Adobe Acrobat proficiency • Experience with chiller plants, CRAH/CRAC, fan walls, CDU, and liquid loops • Ability to travel 50% domestically; Central/East Coast preferred • Valid driver’s license appropriate for the role and eligibility to operate a motor vehicle, where on-site presence or travel between work locations is an essential function • Demonstrated professional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to walk, stand, stoop, twist, bend, climb stairs or ladders, and navigate active construction environments • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally • Ability to drive between job sites and access active construction zones, raised platforms, scaffolding, and confined spaces • Ability to tolerate outdoor weather, dust, noise, vibrations, and odors • Required PPE includes hard hat, safety vest, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots • Sufficient visual acuity to read drawings, specifications, and safety signage • PE helpful, not required
