📋 Description

• Lead a team of direct reports focused on negotiating, executing, and analyzing healthcare provider contracts • Maintain and enhance the provider network while meeting accessibility, quality, and financial goals • Handle dispute resolution and settlement negotiations • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements • Implement contracting strategies aligned with network adequacy, development, and cost management objectives • Manage and negotiate contracts with assigned healthcare providers • Oversee contracting associates and specialists through leadership, guidance, mentorship, objective setting, performance monitoring, and training • Review and analyze provider contracts to identify improvement and optimization opportunities • Use provider financial and competitor strategy data to inform negotiation decisions • Implement contracting policies and workflows • Monitor network performance, cost, and provider satisfaction metrics and report to leadership • Resolve provider issues related to contract terms, reimbursement, and network participation • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in healthcare network contracting, including executing contracts with health systems, hospitals or national providers, provider relations, or network management • 2+ years of experience managing complex Provider Network strategies and negotiating complex contracts • 2+ years of people management experience • 2+ years experience in Health Insurance (Individual and/or Medicare Advantage) and/or Healthcare industry • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional working experience • Reside in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania or Virginia
