📋 Description

• Own telecommunications and network infrastructure scope across data center campuses from design coordination through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover to operations • Manage fiber, structured cabling, network infrastructure, DAS, and ERRCS scopes • Build and manage schedules with architects, engineers, and the general contractor • Lead coordination meetings and resolve clashes with other trades • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning as the subject matter expert • Inspect work and verify documentation against design, safety rules, and team standards • Track material lead times and procurement status and flag supply risks • Close out projects with test results, as-builts, and a clean handover to operations • Coordinate with design, construction, IT, and the general contractor to ensure systems meet team and tenant standards

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years delivering data center or campus telecom, not an office LAN • Experience owning install, test, and handover with a GC and low-voltage subcontractors • Experience with OSP and ISP fiber, structured cabling, and at least one DAS or ERRCS package • Ability to run a coordination meeting • Procore, Bluebeam, and a scheduling tool such as MS Project, P6, or Smartsheet • Excel for equipment and test logs • Visio or AutoCAD markup experience • OSHA 10 or 30 • Fiber test and certification practice, including OTDR and light source/power meter • Low-voltage or telecom install standards • Site safety orientation for active construction • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license when on-site presence or travel between work locations is an essential function • Ability to communicate effectively in a professional work environment and prepare written reports and documentation • Ability to walk, stand, stoop, twist, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally • Ability to drive between job sites and access active construction zones, including raised platforms, scaffolding, and confined spaces • Ability to tolerate outdoor weather, dust, construction-related noise, vibrations, and odors • Required PPE includes hard hats, safety vests, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots • Sufficient visual acuity to read drawings, specifications, and safety signage • BICSI RCDD or TECH is preferred, not required • Manufacturer fiber certification is a plus • DAS/ERRCS or public-safety radio experience accepted in place of a certification
