📋 Description

• Provide support and training to MDS Coordinators to ensure proper assessment and treatment of nursing home residents in accordance with state and federal standards • Conduct monthly Regional MDS meetings for training and CMI development • Assist facilities with clinical, MDS, dietary, social services, and regulatory policies and related education • Monitor and assist with RAC audits from Insurance, State, or CMS • Develop regional tracking and trending reports for clinical metrics regarding CMS 5-star rating • Assist facilities in improving 5-star ratings in all categories • Provide oversight and direction to the MDS department and regional MDS staff • Conduct facility visits to assess and train clinical staff • Create action plans to facilitate growth and development • Attend regional meetings and provide clinical insight as requested by the RVP • Assist facilities with clinical risk management efforts • Assist facility defense attorneys with lawsuits, depositions, reports, and document production as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent Accredited Nursing Program Degree • Professional License must remain active and in good standing at all times with the State Board of Nursing • Proficient in Microsoft Suite products • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • Prolonged use of a desktop or laptop computer • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, read, or hear • Frequent use of office-related equipment, including copier/scanner/fax, telephone, and calculator
