📋 Description

• Collaborate with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within the assigned specialization area • Present to customers as a subject-matter expert from practitioners to senior leadership • Serve as the main technical point of contact for Cortex and respond to RFIs/RFPs • Lead and support customer demonstrations • Scope and lead Proof of Value projects for prospective customers and partners • Drive technical validation and Proof of Value win rates • Discuss product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation • Architect solutions that strengthen and simplify customers’ security posture • Document High-Level Designs and Key Use Cases • Help customers build and develop services around Cortex solutions • Lead conversations about industry trends and changes in the security landscape • Position Palo Alto Networks and partner-delivered services for implementation and value realization • Initiate projects to improve team performance and help others adopt organizational policies • Convey customer feedback to Product Management, Technical Marketing, competitor intelligence, and R&D

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Security Operations or pre-sales/sales engineering within SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR environments • IBM QRadar design, deployment, and/or pre-sales experience highly desirable • Experience working with customers • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude • Solid understanding of Security Operations Center processes • Advanced knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions • Scripting experience is a plus; Python preferred • Proficient in English • Must be able to support field sales activities and potentially travel for in-person customer meetings • Immigration sponsorship is not available; applicants requiring work visa sponsorship will not be sponsored
