📋 Description

• Contribute to the design, development, and evaluation of machine learning models for AI products, AI services, and core ML models • Work on subprojects from the ongoing ML product roadmap, including model improvements using novel techniques • Partner with MLOps and platform teams to build and improve ML pipelines • Participate in experimental design, analysis, design reviews, technical forums, and journal clubs • Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate clinical needs into scalable ML solutions • Work on active projects impacting PathAI’s technical roadmap and business goals

🎯 Requirements

• Enrolled in an M.S. or Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering, with a focus on Computer Vision and Machine Learning • Strong programming skills in Python • Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow • Understanding of machine learning and/or computer vision fundamentals • Excellent communication skills • Desire to work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment • Passion to improve patient lives • Previous experience with complex open-source projects and AI-based products preferred • Participation in student organizations and/or leadership activities preferred • Contributions to AI/ML publications preferred • Commitment to a 3–6 month internship/co-op; 4–6 months preferred
