📋 Description

• Calculate, process, and reconcile monthly broker commission payments • Maintain broker agreements, commission documentation, payment instructions, and commission settings • Audit production and commission reports, investigate variances, and resolve payment discrepancies • Serve as primary contact for broker commission inquiries and disputes • Prepare payment files, commission statements, reconciliations, commission expense reports, accrual documentation, and journal-entry support • Ensure validated payments are entered into systems by established deadlines • Track agreements, amendments, terminations, and rate changes • Collaborate with brokers, regional and agency teams, Finance, and Accounting • Lead system enhancements and provide ad hoc commission and financial analysis • Protect confidential information

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in commission administration, accounting, broker compensation, or a related role • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Knowledge of broker commission structures, payment terms, audits, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis • Ability to interpret agreements and apply commission rates, effective dates, and payment schedules • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Effective communication and collaboration skills • Proficiency with accounting systems and Agency Management Systems such as Business Central, Epic, and BenefitPoint • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel • Ability to handle confidential broker, banking, client, and company information • Commitment to Patriot's core values
