📋 Description

• Analyze personal and business financials for potential and existing loan customers • Create comprehensive loan approval packages and identify policy exceptions • Present recommendations to senior management and credit committees • Monitor existing loan portfolio performance • Assist with due diligence for audits and examinations • Maintain loan-related databases • Use Power BI to create loan reports • Support investigation and processing of potentially fraudulent activity with the Compliance department • Stay informed about legal context and regulatory requirements • Complete required compliance and IT training • Pursue education related to sustainability practices and embody the Bank’s environmental, social, economic and racial justice mission

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance • Prior banking experience in Credit Analysis/Underwriting • Ability to analyze personal and business financial documents and reports • Knowledge of financial products and services and applicable credit and underwriting regulations and laws • Strong mathematical skills • Proven Microsoft Excel skills • Familiarity with Power BI or willingness to become familiar with it • Ability to complete assignments with little oversight and balance self-sufficiency with asking questions • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, time management and multitasking ability • Professional communication skills across in-person, camera, phone and chat interactions • Ability to defend recommendations and build internal and external relationships • Commitment to environmental, social, economic and racial justice • Willingness to learn and apply Bank policies, procedures and regulations • Ability to recognize and investigate suspicious or potentially fraudulent activity in collaboration with Compliance • Ability to complete web-based compliance and IT training • Authorized to work in the U.S.
