📋 Description

• Assist internal and external customers and sales representatives with order entry professionally, skillfully, and expediently • Accurately process customer transactions including orders, quotes, and returns • Maintain accurate customer, territory, and facility records and document customer interactions • Generate reports • Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery • Maintain regulatory compliance with Company, State, and Federal policies • Adhere to Accounts Receivable policies and practices • Verify prices and terms according to standard procedures and customer profitability profiles • Multitask across multiple computer systems and communication platforms • Maintain current knowledge of company products, policies, and procedures • Develop strong working relationships across business functions, customers, and manufacturing partners • Provide customer service and sales support; respond to queries, answer questions, and solve problems • Communicate pertinent customer information to outside sales representatives or management • Identify customer requirements and expectations to recommend products or solutions • Upgrade telephone orders • Introduce and promote new products during calls • Place outbound calls to existing customers to suggest additional products and increase sales and services • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent • Exceptional customer service and organizational skills • Accuracy and strong attention to detail • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • General computer proficiency including knowledge of MS Office • Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred) • Proficiency in SAP or related ERP (preferred) • Ability to operate a computer or other office devices for the majority of the workday • May occasionally need to move packages up to 10 pounds • Must be able to communicate with others in person, over the phone, and in writing • Must be able to understand and effectively exchange accurate information with coworkers, customers, and vendors • Must be able to read and interpret various electronic and written documents • Willingness and ability to travel minimally, up to 10%, in a local area for sales ride-along or training opportunities
