📋 Description

• Provide support to branch Customer Service regarding item extensions into warehouses, product availability, stocking requests, reactivation requests, freight quotes, purchase order status, and cancellation of non-stock orders • Maintain centralized backorder reports (AHI) • Work directly with vendors to gather information for new product setups and reactivations • Trace undelivered shipments, determine appropriate action, and update purchase orders with shipping updates and tracking information • Assist Supply Chain Planners with assigned products, including backorders, discontinuations, and stocking changes • Forward discontinuation notices and product updates to Product Data Corporate • Serve as the central point for internal Customer Service, Field Sales, and Distribution Center questions • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree in business or equivalent experience and education • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Ability to handle several assignments simultaneously • Ability to solve problems and utilize various search engines/websites to locate necessary information • Strong follow-up, analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills • Self-starter, detail oriented, and able to work effectively individually and as part of a team • Knowledge of and/or experience in a Distribution/Logistics environment preferred • Knowledge of and/or experience working with ERP systems preferred • Knowledge of and/or experience in the animal health field preferred • Ability to operate a computer or other office devices for the majority of the workday • Ability to move packages up to 10 pounds occasionally • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in person, over the phone, and in writing • Ability to understand and effectively exchange accurate information with coworkers, customers, and vendors • Ability to read and interpret electronic and written documents
