📋 Description

• Serve as a senior escalation point and trusted advisor for PayIt Outdoors clients • Build relationships with state agency executives and program sponsors • Represent delivery status, risk, and roadmap in executive business reviews • Translate client priorities into realistic expectations around scope, timeline, and quality • Coordinate end-to-end delivery across implementation, product, and engineering teams • Identify and resolve or escalate portfolio dependencies and conflicts • Align delivery roadmaps with client commitments • Design and run status cycles, steering committees, risk reviews, and launch readiness gates • Build and maintain program management frameworks, including RAID logs, status taxonomies, escalation paths, and delivery health definitions • Improve delivery processes and convert recurring fire drills into permanent fixes • Develop repeatable project reporting frameworks for hybrid SaaS solutions • Produce client-facing status reports and executive readouts • Maintain portfolio dashboards and delivery scorecards • Drive portfolio risk mitigation plans • Lead root-cause reviews after missed dates or escalations • Mentor and manage program and project managers as the portfolio grows • Hire, coach, and develop program management talent

🎯 Requirements

• 8–12+ years of program or project management experience, including managing multiple concurrent, complex, client-facing implementations simultaneously • Ability to operate credibly with C-suite/executive stakeholders and day-to-day project teams • Track record of building delivery governance, reporting structures, status cadences, escalation frameworks, and portfolio-level visibility • Experience working across product and engineering organizations • Technical fluency to understand delivery risk • Excellent written and verbal communication • Strong organization and follow-through • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • PMP, PgMP, or similar certification required • Experience with state or local government clients, GovTech, or regulated public-sector procurement and delivery environments • Experience with outdoor recreation, licensing, permitting, DMV, or similar agency systems • Experience scaling a PMO or delivery function • Familiarity with Jira, Smartsheet, Monday.com, Confluence, Power BI, Tableau, or similar delivery/reporting tools • U.S. citizens and those authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. may apply; no U.S. sponsorship available • Canadian citizens and those authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship may apply
