📋 Description

• Develop and maintain the PayIt Outdoors release schedule • Coordinate with client, engineering, DBE, product management, operations, development, and quality assurance teams • Plan and deploy hotfixes and scheduled releases • Define release scope and objectives • Oversee end-to-end release processes, including User Acceptance and Production deployments and rollback plans • Schedule and run release reviews • Ensure required work is included in releases • Track branches and ensure merges occur after sprints • Communicate release schedules, status updates, and risks to stakeholders • Maintain documentation of release processes, configurations, dependencies, issues, and resolutions • Identify and mitigate risks affecting software releases • Establish and enforce change control and release management processes • Oversee the PayIt Outdoors incident response lifecycle, including cross-functional coordination, resolution validation, closure, and process metrics • Design, build, and maintain Jira workflows, issue types, field configurations, permission schemes, automation rules, integrations, project configurations, access controls, user roles, and boards

🎯 Requirements

• High integrity, drive, grit, high aptitude, and team orientation • Great communication skills • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and align business goals, project objectives, and deliverables • Experience or capability with software release planning, deployment, rollback plans, hotfixes, and change control • Knowledge of User Acceptance and Production deployment activities • Ability to track branches and ensure post-sprint merges • Ability to identify and mitigate software release risks • Ability to manage incident response lifecycles • Jira administration skills, including custom workflows, issue types, field configurations, permission schemes, automation rules, integrations, project configurations, access control, user roles, and board configurations • Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship, or a Canadian citizen or authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship • Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company, client, and citizen data
