Presbyterian Church (U. S. 📋 Description

• Provide leadership and coordination for developing, implementing, and monitoring international humanitarian and recovery projects with global partners • Support project planning, partner engagement, emergency response coordination, and reporting processes • Strengthen collaborative relationships with international partners, ecumenical organizations, ACT Alliance members, and PL&W colleagues • Represent PDA in regional and international forums • Serve as primary liaison for accompaniment and coordination efforts in Latin America and the Caribbean • Shape high-quality proposals and support disaster response and recovery initiatives • Ensure projects align with PDA’s mission, values, and strategic priorities • Prepare and/or review activity reports and records, modifying methodologies as needed • Coordinate program activities under general supervision

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent • Master’s degree preferred • 4–7 years of increasingly responsible related programmatic experience • Experience with faith-based humanitarian response • Familiarity with the context of one of four global regions: Africa, Asia, Latin America/Caribbean, Middle East and Europe • Proficiency using Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel, and other appropriate software • Understanding and knowledge of PC(USA) and its organizational structure helpful • Ability to speak one or more languages other than English helpful • Ability to communicate via telephone, Zoom, and other computer technologies • Ability to read and understand written materials • Ability to see, hear, speak, type, write, walk, stand, bend, and lift • Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
