📋 Description

• Provide weekly counseling through text-based chat, video calls, and phone calls to monitor members’ recovery progress • Onboard users through an initial phone call and complete multidimensional assessments covering behavioral health history and symptoms • Work within Pelago’s Atlas AI-native EHR for session documentation, evidence-based guidance, and clinical context • Monitor member progress and provide therapeutic strategies for temptations and cravings • Support and encourage members in establishing and sustaining motivation to change substance use • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a positive member experience • Provide feedback to the product development team • Maintain good standing with active licenses and certifications • Attend scheduled team meetings and case discussions • Help members and their families through addiction recovery

🎯 Requirements

• Active Massachusetts credential in good standing • Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) • Bachelor’s degree required • 2+ years of clinical experience delivering CBT and/or behavioral support for substance use disorders • Comfort working in an AI-augmented care environment • Openness to adopting AI-assisted tools for documentation, member communication, and clinical decision-making • Proficiency with Motivational Interviewing (MI), Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), MAT coordination, and Relapse Prevention • Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary healthcare teams • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Adaptability in fast-moving environments and ability to prioritize competing demands • Technological fluency and ability to learn new tools and platforms • Visa sponsorship is unavailable for this position
