📋 Description

• Work on a wide variety of software consulting projects alongside and for clients • Influence automation strategies for large enterprise clients • Build new applications for mortgage and other businesses • Redesign and transform platforms for cloud technologies • Apply Lean and Agile thinking • Solve mission-critical problems • Lead projects to successful completion • Provide customer-facing consulting and presentations

🎯 Requirements

• Experience, understanding and ability to diagnose issues with Compile, Assembly and LinkEdit processes for z/OS • Experience developing mainframe applications using COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, Java, and EZT for z/OS • Experience with IBM CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, Liberty and z/OS Connect • Experience with z/OS source control platforms and processes, such as Panvalet, Endevor, and SCLM • Knowledge of IBM zEnterprise Hybrid Computing offerings, including zLinux, zCX, Db2 and IDAA • Knowledge of IBM Dependency Based Build and its components, including Groovy or YAML • Experience using the z/OS USS environment • Experience using an IDE for mainframe development, such as IBM IDz, BMC Compuware Topaz, or VSCode • Experience with Git-based source control platforms • Experience with IBM UrbanCode Deploy • Experience with Ansible Automation Platform • Experience with other open-source tools is a plus • Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies and best practices • BA or BS or equivalent required • Minimum of 5 years' experience in customer-facing environments • Good presentation skills • Current working knowledge of IBM zEnterprise Hybrid Computing offerings, including zLinux, zCX and IDAA • DB2 DBA support knowledge for software development • IBM Certified Specialist - IBM zSeries Technical Version 1 and related industry certifications are preferred • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
