📋 Description

• Lead complex programs, projects and workstreams, delivering on schedule, within budget and within stakeholder scope requirements • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, budgets, deliverables, risk and issue logs, dashboards, OKRs, KPIs and related tools • Apply project management methodologies and PMO tools to support portfolio visibility, delivery tracking, governance, reporting and alignment • Gather, document and interpret customer, business, technical, data, reporting and operational requirements • Manage risks, issues, dependencies and decisions across programs and workstreams, escalating with recommended options • Liaise between business stakeholders and delivery partners to solve business problems and improve processes, software, technology, data products and operational capabilities • Ensure readiness, implementation planning, documentation, training coordination, deployment validation and transition activities • Perform data analysis, metrics and reporting, process improvement and functional systems initiatives • Provide leadership to project teams and remove obstacles across teams, vendors, dependencies and milestones • Troubleshoot complex issues, facilitate project completion meetings and complete wrap-up and lessons-learned activities • Coach and mentor others on project and program management practices, tools, stakeholder communication and delivery routines • Demonstrate behavior consistent with PEMCO policies, values, code of ethics and business conduct • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Applicants must be a resident and work from WA, OR, ID, TX, OH, FL, SC, NC, or IL • B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Analytics or equivalent • 8+ years of experience in project or program management roles with increasing scale, scope and/or complexity • Experience leading cross-functional stakeholders, vendors, technology partners and/or business teams to deliver complex project or program outcomes • Working knowledge and demonstrated experience with Agile project methodologies • Experience leading business, IT, digital, data, AI, analytics, reporting, data governance or operational initiatives preferred • Experience with architecture, security, privacy, data governance or responsible AI practices preferred • PMP, PgMP, Agile certification or equivalent preferred • Skilled proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Advanced proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet or comparable project/program management tools • Thorough understanding of the relevant business landscape, insurance environment and assigned domain • Ability to communicate clearly and informatively with colleagues, customers, leaders and executives in technical and non-technical professional language • Ability to build relationships and get results through influence rather than authority • Ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve highly complex unstructured problems across multiple teams • Analytical, structured and data-driven approach, including root cause analysis and development of metrics • Ability to frame options, risks and tradeoffs and influence aligned delivery decisions • Strong understanding of business process, technology, digital, data, analytics, reporting, data governance, privacy, security and AI enablement concepts
